Thank you for visiting my art.  I have been experimenting with various mediums most of my life.  I love the clarity and depth of glass, the texture and organic nature of cement, and the unpredictability and endless possibilities of resin. Even as I spent 30 successful years in the creative entertainment business, writing, producing and editing, I would find my zen back home in my studio immersed in my latest project.

With this Galaxy project I have finally found a way to make my creative writing skills work in sync with the tactile immersion into resin and glass and elevate the art beyond it's beauty and design to take on a life of it's own.

Each piece has it's own unique story that threads into the world around it.  Each planet and moon has a purpose.  Each solar system a world unto itself.

The planets and moons are unique one of a kind creations.  They are made separately from various molds and forms.  As they evolve, so does the story.  As I'm creating the planets, I have no plan, no idea where it will take me.  When it's finished, I can see clearly how it fits into the world around it and the solar systems become an extension of that beginning.  The planets and moons are embedded in the resin as the space around them grows.  As all objects in space, no two will ever be alike.  And the unique characteristics of the inhabitants and lands in this space will continue to evolve on this site.
