MEZURIOUS SOLAR SYSTEM

 

The planet Elator is the largest in the Mezurious solar system. Hundreds of years ago it was a flourishing planet with vast mineral resources, a thriving economy and a humanoid population.  But it has been stripped over the centuries of all most minerals and resources for money and trade, by its own male inhabitants. Leaving behind raucous bawdy cities that cater to an influx of nomadic patrons looking for a good time. It has basically turned into a perpetual summer break party planet. Long ago, any women of substance and intelligence have moved on to planets like...where there are plentiful opportunities for education and growth. Leaving behind the men of Elator…the professional con men of this universe. Charming... beautiful...the life of every party. They give off an aura that female of any species finds irresistible. They spend their lives traveling from planet to planet scavenging and trading.  Cheating and scamming. They will lie to get what they want. They will lie even when it's not necessary. And the more outrageous the lie the better. They know that the more unbelievable a story is, the more likely it will be believed. Most reasonable people will tell themselves it's has to be true because no one could make up something so fantastic. It's an art they have perfected for generations. Think of them as the Tinder of the galaxy. They are basically harmless, albeit annoying if you’re the one being scammed. And you definitely do not want to play poker with them. But somehow their inherent charm makes it impossible for anyone to stay mad at them for long. Unless you’re the father of one of the women who fall under their irresistible attraction. Mostly for that reason, there is a bounty on the heads of many Elator men for outstanding paternity suits.

 

The blue moon that satellites Elator is uninhabited with frigid temperatures averaging 100 degrees below zero. 

 

The 3rd planet in the system is a small class M planet with an earth like terrain and humanoid population.  Watching its big sister, Elator, going to ruin has caused it’s population to become very secluded and cautious.  They keep to themselves and do not welcome visitors.  They are not an aggressive people, but hospitality is not in their nature. 

 

The 4th planet, is the youngest planet in the system and experienced an ice age about 1000 years ago.  It has just begun to thaw and has not developed any sustained life as yet.  But it is a great place for winter sports and an excursion destination for the partiers on Elator.
